"Escape The World" Watercolour Classes.
Join by Zoom from home or cottage.
Once a month drop-in workshops each Wednesday afternoons at 12:30pm. The 2nd Wednesday of every month.

March 8th: Cityscapes, with 1-point perspective lesson.
Hilary Slater is a member of the BMFA, and SCA, and has been practicing/teaching/Watercolour painting for over 40 years. She has a BEd and an MA and has experience teaching all levels of students. Classes are easy to follow, with detailed demonstration shown on camera, while relaxing at home.
We have the option to met in person for a summer pleinair weekend -with their trailers and tents, and some 'safe distancing' art holiday fun.
Step by Step instruction
Each subject is presented by shared photos, with a wide variety of themes.
I send a series of photos of a variety of chosen topics each workshop- anything the group is interested in. This year we have painted: Fruit, flowers, animals, landscapes, barns, perspective, winter colours, etc.
Each class starts with a 'paint along' demonstration, starting at 12:30pm. I set a video camera above my work, as well as showing face view, so I can demonstrate the techniques for each painting. At the end there's time to allow sharing, and
positive feedback for the group to see each other's results.
